Protecting and processing your personal data is of great value to us. For that reason, we only process data necessary to improve our services and treat the information you provide us with care. Bytes & Beyond processes personal data of our customers, potential customers and all other parties that contact us. 2. What data are processed by us?

The personal data we process are delivered to us by using our contact form. These data, contact details and/or personal data, are needed to perform our services for the purpose of customer orientation. In the contact form on our website we process:

- Name and address details
- Contact details
- Message content

Using other sources, we may also obtain personal data and process it in an equal manner, such as receiving personal data from counterparties, data available on public websites, the Land Registry and the Chamber of Commerce Trade Register.

Bytes & Beyond does not have a retention policy, that means the data will be kept until you indicate to delete the data. If you indicate this, we will no longer process your personal data, but due to legal administrative obligations, certain administrative documents must be kept. Obviously no access is granted to unauthorized persons to inspect these documents, they are actually intended for legal obligations.

5. Will personal data be provided to third parties?

Your privacy is very important to us. For that reason, your personal data will not be provided to third parties except to carry out services for us that you request, to fulfill a legal obligation or to cooperate with a court order. 

During the delivery of our services, personal data may be shared with employees and professional partners. Our partners will take technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. By means of a processing agreement, which is discussed in article 6. Your personal data will never be provided to third parties for commercial purposes.

6. What do we do to keep your data secure?

Through a processing agreement, our partners must as well take similar technical and organizational security measures to ensure maximum protection of your personal data. Some of our partners are located in a country outside the European Economic Area. To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union, that country must ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data. Therefore, they seek to comply with the predetermined regulations regarding the E.U. - U.S. Privacy Shield before sharing personal data. Our partners guarantee that their sub-processors are compliant with these regulations and must meet the same requirements. By screening their new sub-processors and regularly auditing their existing sub-processors, our partners verify compliance with these privacy and security measures. Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for the incorrect or irregular use of personal data by a third party or any of their sub-processors.

7. Is it possible to access and/or modify the personal data transferred?

Bytes & Beyond collects and processes your personal data for the performance of our services. According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in case of incorrect processing, you have the right to access or alter or possibly delete the personal data you have provided. You also have the right to withdraw a granted consent, this may apply when consent has been given to receive our newsletter, cookies, etc.

To verify the authenticity of the request, we must receive a copy of your identity card attached, front and back, clearly indicating what is to be done with the personal data transferred. After submitting the request, we will fulfill the request within 30 days of receipt at the e-mail address known to us.
